Cranial Facial Release
Oh boy, now we’re getting to the good stuff!
Cranial Facial Release is a unique treatment that addresses blockages in the nasal airway. This may include deviated septum, turbinate hypertrophy, nasal polyps, structural misalignments of the face and skull and even previous nose or facial trauma.
This treatment is ideal for anyone who is struggling to breathe. Whether it is snoring, chronic congestion, decreased air flow through one or both nostrils, nasal inflammation, acute or chronic sinusitis, muffled or fullness in the ears or sleep apnea, this treatment drastically improves nasal airflow and improves breathing almost instantly!
Using this technique, I have even seen improvements to headaches, jaw pain, facial pain syndromes, depression and concussion symptoms!
A tiny balloon is inserted into the nose and carefully placed deep into each nasal turbinate. It is then quickly inflated, causing brief pressure inside the facial skeleton and restoring function to the nasal passageway. It’s that simple.
By restoring function to the facial and cranial skeleton, we are able to impact the other 80% of your nervous system aka your brain!
Cranial Facial Release is performed in a series, requiring 5 visits completed over a 2-3 week period. Over the past year and a half, I have performed this technique on well over 100 patients, achieving 95% resolution for nasal breathing related complaints in 5 visits.
The treatment, although not comfortable, is not at all painful and typically results are felt immediately! There is no down time or recovery and most patients return to work right after their appointments.
After the initial series of 5 visits, it is common to have a maintenance visit every 4-6 months. You do not need to repeat the entire series, just pop in for a tune up and you’re good to go!
